Kirsten Thompson is the author of I Am Hexed, illustrated by Christine Goudreau, and Amagoia Agirre, and lettered by Taylor Esposito, as well as APERTURE, illustrated by Huenito, (Mad Cave Studios/Nakama Press), upcoming in Summer 2026.

Her nonfiction work has appeared in Teen Vogue, Femsplain, Women Write About Comics, and elsewhere.

She lives in the Pacific Northwest - the perfect place for a forest witch, with her three cats.
